Brand Value of BAIC Group Exceeded 100 Billion Ranking 19th among China’s 500 Most Valuable Brands


On June 16, the international authoritative brand research institute “World Brand Laboratory” published the ranking list of The 12th China’s 500 Most Valuable Brands 2015 in Beijing, and BAIC Group ranked 19th by virtue of the brand value of RMB112.669 billion, which increased by 14.2% compared with the brand value of last year (RMB98.675 billion), retaining the position among top three of China’s most valuable automobile enterprises and the first place among Beijing municipal enterprises.

In the past year, BAIC Group actively promoted the collectivized and internationalized enterprise development strategy and had strategy transformation from traditional automobile manufacturing enterprise to manufacturing service-oriented and innovative enterprise, which further promoted the brand construction of the whole group.

In 2014, BAIC Group achieved the annual complete vehicle sales of 2.401 million, with a year-on-year growth of 10.9%. On December 19, 2014, BAIC Motor Corporation Ltd was listed on the main board of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Ltd, which opened the international financing channel of BAIC Motor. BAIC Group integrates the superior resources worldwide, improves domestic production distribution and lays solid foundation for accelerating the internationalization strategy, and the group brand is stepping on the world stage.

Changhe Auto was successfully integrated and the “dual-brand” based on the two self-owned brands “Beijing” and “Changhe” has achieved initial success. “Beijing Hyundai” continuously increases, “Beijing Benz” abruptly rises, self-owned brands and joint venture brands together promote the rapid development of BAIC Group, BGAC is innovatively developing and actively expanding both domestic and overseas general aviation business, and multiple business fields of BAIC Group are advancing neck to neck and are entering into a stage of benign development.
