BAIC Group Sold 2508 Vehicles in the Changchun Expo


On July 20, the 11th China Changchun International Automobile Expo successfully came to an end. During the 10-day Expo BAIC Group totally sold 2508 vehicles, setting a record of sales of vehicles in the Changchun Expo.

Leaders of BAIC Group attached great importance to the Changchun International Automobile Expo, and this year was the 11th successful year BAIC Group forms a group to participate in the Expo. In order to well organize the participation in the Changchun Expo, Zhang Jian, Deputy General Manager of BAIC Group, led a delegation and appeared in the Expo with high standard lineups of the subordinated enterprises. The lineups for the Expo were of the highest standards ever, and the exhibition stand covered an area of 1600 m2. BAIC Group’s Business Management Department and Beijing Shiji Beiguang Advertising Company, spared no efforts to provide services, and the enterprises participating in the Expo formulated targeted sales strategies for the northeastern region market, which made a remarkable effect. Beijing Hyundai cumulatively sold 1996 vehicles, which made it the biggest winner; Beijing Benz also sold over 300 vehicles. Changhe Auto that participated in the Expo with the Group for the first time, cumulatively sold 69 vehicles. Foton cumulatively sold 56 vehicles and BAIC Motor limited sold 10 vehicles, and for the self-owned brand of E series, BAIC Motor cumulatively sold 49 vehicles. Weiwang accumulatively sold 22 vehicles; the sales volume far exceeded the original plan. For this, Zhang Jian, Deputy General Manager, pointed out that the auto exhibition has become one of the major marketing modes to promote sales. For exhibitors, the regional brand exhibition not only offers an opportunity for showing their image and strength, but also provides a marketing stage that can saves time and reduces costs. The remarkable result obtained in marketing in Changchun Expo has been clearly visable.
