  • T-power engines

    The T-power engine family include four main catalogs: 2.0T moderately turbocharged, 2.0T highly turbocharged, 2.3T highly turbocharged and 1.5GDI. The range of engine power is 130--190 Kw, while the range of torque is 240--350 Nm. The specific power of this engine family is judged to be of world's leading standard. The T-power engine family inherit and develop the excellent knowledge accumulation and the technical expertise of SAAB, who is the forerunner of turbochage technology. The engines of T-power family simultaneously achieve advanced fuel economics and strong power performance, especially the instinctive performance of acceleration during moderate engine speed.

  • Transmissions of Max-torque

    Max-torque MT which developed basing on the SAAB technology allows the matching with engine whose torque upto 250 Nm--350 Nm, which completes the product structure of MT in China. The entire product series were confiured with the automatic transmission of world's leading standard supplied by AISIN. Meantime, BAIC has already fully launched the R&D in CVT and DCT, and will provide the most complete solution for the matching of transmission in China and have the capabilities to fullfill the demands of different customers.

  • ESP-Electronic Stability Program

    It monitors the car posture by 7 sensors (steering sensor+4 wheel sensors+sideslip sensor+transverse acceleration sensor) spreading over the whole car which can remarkably correct understeer and oversteer in order to avoid sideslip. It is the top class vehicle anti-slipping device and the epitome of car active safety device, which increase the ability of customers to prevent danger. It is called the curve patron saint.

  • SVA- Side-View Assistance system

    When the car changes the lane, there are often two blind zones about 45° of rear left and right side due to the block by column B and C, and collision may easily happen due to rushed lane change. SVA system can constantly scan the position of 45° of rear left and right side by using side radar, and it will activate the warning lamp on the exterior rearview mirror of the corresponding side if there is vehicle in the blind zone in order to avoid collision.

  • Pre-Safe system

    It monitor the vehicles and pedestrians in front of the vehicle by using front camera and front radar, then intervene the brake of the car on order to minimize the possibility of collision.

  • Mobile communication technology

    Telematics and vehicle network: it connects with satellite, car, human and internet to reach the purpose of information communication. It allows people to get all kinds of information they need, such as entertainment, consumption, road condition, map, and could share the message with the cars passing by. Drivers will drive more easily and safe. This system could completely solve the trouble of traffic jam.

  • LDWS-Lane Departure Warning System

    LDWS monitors the relative position of car between the lane line using the front camera, system will send out sound signals or shake the steering wheel to warn the driver if the car crosses the lane line without using the lane change signal, thus significant increas the driving safety.

  • High-speed CAN bus system

    Composed with VBUS, EBUS and LIN, the complete vehicle bus system has outstanding high speed and extendibility, which is the core network of the vehicle. This platform integrated the most comprehensive active safety systems in the domestic, which includes ABS, EBD, TCS, CBC, EBA, EDS, HSA, ESP, SVA, TPMS, LDWS and etc. the highest transmission rate of CAN network can reach 500Kbps. All the version of vehicle(no matter manual gear, automatic gear or ESP installed) adopt to same topology, which is changeless for different version of vehicle, thus increasing the reliability and maintainability.

  • Ultrahigh rigidity cage-type car body

    The ultrahigh rigidity cage-type body, originated from Saab Safe Cage patented technology (proportion of high-strength steel of whole car reaches 55.5%; the bumper impact bar from the front side, the rear side and four doors adopts hot stamping, and the strength reaches 1200Mpa), up to the five-star standard of Euro NCAP, and is the only brand among the super-luxury cars wins the "Top Safety Pick Award” of IIHS for 4 successive years. Besides the outstanding passive safety, high anti-distortion strength and high stabiligy reduces the distortion of car when turning at high speed or under harsh road conditions, which increases the controllability.

  • 10 airbags

    There are up to 10 airbags in the car, airbags for the driver seat and front passenger seat in the front, knee airbags for the driver seat and front passenger seat in the front, airbags for the left and right sides of the front, airbag for rear left side of the back and air curtain crossing the left and right side of front and back, which provides 360° safeguard for passengers.

  • Front energy absorption box structure

    The steel beam of the front of energy absorption box adopts ultra high-strength steel+hot rolling molding technology, and presets the transformation trend of material by the shape of reinforcing rib, which can get relatively outstanding energy absorption ability while ensuring anti-bending ability. Only energy absorption box transformation occurs when there is medium hit, but not the front beam of the vehicle, forming an extra crumple zone and making it safer; separate replacement of anti-collision cabinet can reduce the maintenance cost.

  • Active head restraint

    When there is a rear-end collision, the front car will suddenly accelerate due to the collision by the back car, and the people will accelerate together with the car due to sitting on the seat, while the head still maintains the original motion state due to inertia. In this way, the head will lean backwards due to this speed difference, which can easily injure the cervical vertebrae. The active head restraint can rapidly push the head restraint forward when there is a rear-end collision to avoid injury to cervical vertebrae.

  • Optimized passenger space of the back row

    According to the demand for large space from domestic comsumers, the height of central channel of the back row (5cm) is lowered on the basis of Saab 93, which increases the head space of passengers of the back row.

  • World-class sporty chassis

    The technology-leading combinational design of front MacPherson suspension+rear multi-link suspension+ front and rear subframe+ front and rear anti-roll bar was adopted to both consider the ride performance and ensure the excellent handling performance.

  • Lightweight chassis design

    The hollow design of 2 front suspension arms and 4 rear suspension wrought aluminium links, front and rear aluminium knuckle and front anti-roll bar reduces the weight of overall chassis by 26.2kg. the suspension arm of common cars is steel, which can not give consideration both to strength and light weight, while aluminium alloy connection bar is 2/3 to 1/2 lighter than steel products in weight, which can largely reduce unsprung mass, reduce suspending movement inertia and increase the road proximity, thus increasing the tracking stability , handling, acceleration performance and response characteristics of the vehicle.

  • Rear wheel self-steering

    The upper control arm and the toe link of rear suspension adopts unique cross-shaped spherical hinge and ball pin structure, which, while the car makes a turn, besides that the front wheel can provide steering force and steering direction, can allow the rear wheel to make a steering of a small angle along with the steering of the front wheel, making the steering more sensitive, increasing the handling and providing the feeling of nap-of-the-ground flight.

  • Unique integrated hydroform front subframe

    The front subframe adopts hydroform technology to press a complete piece of high-strength steel tube into the front subframe (the traditional subframe is welded by pieces of steel plates with complicated structure, heavy weight but low strength and easy transformation). Higher strength reduces the impact on powertrain system due to the distortion of body and front subframe; and lower weight increases the tracking stability , handling and acceleration performance of the vehicle.

  • Four-direction adjustable crumple-type steering column

    Up-down and front-back adjustable design allows drivers of different height to get the best driving position; the steering column which can crumple after collision largely reduces the probability of injury to driver’s chest by the steering column when crash.
